Mesa is the gateway to the Grand Mesa along Scenic Byway Route 65. The many tourists, visitors and residents of the area that pass through town find themselves welcomed by locally owned businesses that offer a wide variety of services.
The town of Mesa is home to a large Community Center that hosts several gatherings throughout the year such as the annual Hospice fund-raiser Spring Swing, the Color Sunday celebration every September, 4-H fund-raisers and many other events that support the community.
